Get the best protection out there
Get big-time head protection without annoying weight and bulk with the Bern G2 Helmet. This ultra-lightweight, low-profile helmet features Bern's revolutionary ZipMold construction which fuses liquid-injected, high-impact foam to the polycarbonate shell. The result is a seamless, thinner layer of protection that delivers the same, if not better, performance of much thicker, heavier helmets.
- Sink Fit features a low-profile configuration so the helmet fits around your head instead of resting on top
- Slider adjusts to three positions so you can manage airflow through the vents
- Removable baseball-cap-style visor lets you pick your look
- Accepts Bern snap-in liners to convert to a cold-weather helmet
- Complies with EN1078, CPSC, AND ASTM2040 standards for safety

Essential protection + nice enchantments
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Multi-season use is a big plus, just get different liners. It also looks nice, not bulky and cumbersome like some helmets.
I love the 'sink-fit'... also looks great compared to the goofy, alien-look of the typical bike helmet.
I also love the fact that I can also use this in the winter for snowboarding. In fact, mine came with the snow liner (I believe, w/ the Bern Brentwood model, you have to purchase the winter liner separately). It even has sliding vents to keep the snow out & the warmth in.
My teen son actually like the helmet, so I bought him a G2 as well.. & you know how it is trying to get teens to wear a helmet!
Mysterious Crack Appearance
So, I bought this helmet back in November to ride through the winter. Seemed pretty cool, the vent controls are a neat idea, for example. Today, I found a crack running down the front side of the helmet. I have not had any crashes. I have not dropped the helmet. I have not dropped anything on the helmet. I am completely baffled as to how this crack appeared. I'm certainly not going to ride with it, however.
Girl in the Bern G2
I let my girl try the Bern G2 and she loved it! We were on a fall ride and the adjustable air vents made a huge difference with the changing temps while climbing and DH'in.
American Made Bern
I like this helmet because it is Made in USA!
I loved my Bern Brentwood so much I bought this one too. The venting is sick on this. Super comfy too!!
