Baker Hard Hat Audio w/Knit Liner

As the original visor lid the Bern Baker Hard Hat Audio w/ Knit Liner reserves special place in the world of cliff-sending and powder shredding. The Baker's thicker, ABS outer shell was created to specifically complement the multiple-impact Brock foam within. Remove the warm knit liner with built-in audio ear pads and ready this Hard Hat for some summer skating or wakeboarding.

  • Soft, open-cell Brock foam allows air to circulate within its structure creating a cooler environment for your head
  • Brock foam is designed to provide protection against multiple, lower-force impacts rather than a single catastrophic crash
  • Hard Hat models do not meet action sports head protection certification standards due to the use of Brock soft foam

Bottom Line: For any situation that requires a durable hard hat and music.

HOT helmet

A well constructed helmet. Warm enough to keep you shredding until the last bell, but unfortunately there aren't any vents to open during hikes, spring days, etc. It keeps you really warm

The audio kit is OK, but one of my speakers is right on my ear and the other is behind it, which gives it a weird echo.

Not the best for all around use but the bill is nice to keep snow/rain out of the goggles on those wet days. Actually it is great for wet weather (PNW, SE Alaska) because there is nowhere for the rain to get onto the top of your head.

Great helmet all around, protects your head and lets you look good while doing it, what else could you want in a helmet? oh ya this helmet with the knit liner and speakers built in. Literally gives you a sound track to your life, and then protects your noodle when you get to pumped up from the tunes.

Any recommendations as far as goggles that will fit well with this helmet? I like electrics, but have never worn them with a helmet before.

Dragon Rogues or the Smith Phenom goggles . The Quicksilver Q2 is way dope too. They're on Dogfunk.com if not on BC. Basically most goggles look great with this helmet. Make sure that the goggles are helmet compatible. Look for some that have the pieces on the outside of the goggles that can flare out to fit a helmet like on the dragon or oakley goggles.

I really like the helmet but I'm having problems with the audio shorting out... Kinda sucked when it happened in the middle of the day.. I will definitely replace my shorted out one with another Bern.

Good lookin protection

Bern is the Original visor brim helmet. These guys know whats up. This helmet is super comfortable and breathable. It fits really well all around and hugs your head real nice to stay in place. The audio liner is legit, you can bump some pretty heavy beats with no problems. They also have a sweet audio cable system that you can unplug from the liner. Super easy to replace if you short it out or rip it in half performing full scorpion. These helmets are "Hardhats" so they're good for numerous impacts without sacrificing protection. Many helmets out there aren't meant to be used after a significant impact. My old Bern Backer took way more impacts than I can count. Only complaint is that I broke the audio cable somehow when I crashed. But Bern is sending me a new one.
