The standard has been set.

The Bern Baker EPS Visor Helmet with Knit Liner kept Seth Wescott's head safe and sound while he was out nabbing a couple of gold medals. Since then, the Baker Helmet has set a new standard for premium helmets in terms of look, fit, and function.
  • Lightweight EPS foam evenly distributes energy throughout its internal structure so less force hits your skull
  • Removable knit liner keeps you warm when winter tries to freeze you out, and you can pull it out when summer heat begs a cooler lid
  • Sink Fit design means that this lid fits around your head (rather than just sitting on top) so you get a better fit and a sleeker look
  • The Clip Snap-In system secures your liner to your helmet simply and quickly

Last time I bought a bern muse "helmet"...

Last time I bought a bern muse "helmet" it arrived with a disclaimer saying it was a hard hat, the difference being helmets are made to protect your noggin against an extreme impact but the foam takes the impact so it has to be replaced whereas a hard hat is built for multiple less severe impacts but the foam won't crumble everytime. I want something that will keep my head safe in the event of a severe impact. So, dogfunk gurus or anyone with an authoritative response, will this "helmet" do the job of a helmet?

My Go-To Brain Bucket

Whether I'm ripping down icy eastern groomers, slaying singletrack, hitting vert ramps, or spending overnights whitewater kayaking, the Bern Baker is my go-to helmet. I've had my one helmet for 4 years. It shows moderate wear, and has taken a few hits, but it continues to save my life weekly, with no end in sight. It's safe and snazzy. I like the Baker because it doesn't have vent holes so it keeps me warm in the winter, but it's bearable in the summer. I know that when I need a new helmet, the Bern Baker is my purchase. Thanks Bern!

The Universal Dome Protector

Second Baker helmet I have owned...it will please and protect your dome. Super warm and fits tight. I have not had to use it yet and hope I never have to.

Excellent Helmet

First helmet I've worn for snow sports. So comfortable right out of the box. Wore it today in 15 degree weather and very gusty winds. Kept my head comfortably warm on the downs and when we skinned up didn't get too warm and start sweating - win-win! I measured my head and the sizing chart seems right on.

Great bucket

Bought this helmet before going over to Europe. Kept my head safe and warm in temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. have also worn it here in the states in 45 degree weather and never really felt like I needed vents in it. Great helmet!

Great Hardhat

This helmet is really warm, and comfortable. I've avoided helmets for some time now, but after skiing with this I don't think I'll go back to skiing without one.

great helmet

The fit is perfect and doesn't look bulky and ugly. Very light weight and have never had any issues with my head being cold.
