Description

Ride with reckless abandon without risking your safety thanks to the Drop helmet.

Designed by the same team that brought you the Moto-8 motocross helmet, the Bell Drop Mountain Bike Helmet lets you attack the course head on with a burly ABS plastic shell to protect your braincase. The Drop meets the safety requirements of not only the CPSC, but the ASTM, as well -- a standard which is voluntary and demands a higher impact velocity. This fullface Bell helmet’s visor side pivots increase durability in case you do decide to put that higher impact velocity to the test.

I have been using this helmet on downhill trails mainly on hot sunny days. I hike with the helmet on my handle bars.. Then strap it on for the ride down!
- Great Ventilation
- I love the Buckle strap rather than the D-ring straps on other helmets
- Pads are thicker and washable so I don't have to smell myself after a bunch of rides.
- worth the cash had a cheaper bell sanction helmet which was nice for the price. But the Drop is way ahead of the game in comfort, ventilation, and style.
** All together Sick helmet I definitely don't regret the purchase!**

Lightweight. Fits well. Great visibility. I bought this helmet when I started dirt jumping. I was afraid it would limit my visibility because I'm used to wearing a regular mountain bike helmet. I can't even tell I'm wearing it. I feel safe. My head sweats almost immediately when I put it on, but I have yet to feel hot in this helmet. Plan on racing an enduro with it this summer.

I bought this for Downhill skateboarding and its great. Its comfortable, light, the ventilation works great on it, and its doesn't block your vision very much. And I imagine its great for mountain biking also.

I was worried this would be a cheaply made helmet but its actually very nice. Can't beat it for the money. Fits well and comfortable. Looks great and fairly light.

Hey this is the helmet to get. I have it and am happy with it and glad i didn't spend 100$ more for a different look.

Sweet helmet, looks awesome, not to heavy, gets the job done for sure. Grab one, because who needs to spend $500 on a helmet?

I've tried a lot of different full faced helmets and this one fits me the best. I always wear a Medium in road/mountain helmets (I'm at the upper end of the sizing range though), but I guess my head is a weird shape because many of the full-faced mediums were just too tight. Specialized Deviant (too tight), Giro Remedy (too tight), SixSixOne (too tight). So I'd try the large size and they were way too big. The Bell Drop in a medium is just right. Way better venting than a SixSixOne and if it were vented like the Deviant, then 5 stars, but it's not quite that luxurious. Great lid.

The Bell Drop sizing is intended for Charlie Brown or Stewie from the Family Guy. If you're going to get one size down from what you normally get. I wear a large in THE helmets and the large Bell was huge. It was way too wide.
