    Neogenis-tic.

Certified nutritionists and elite athletes agree—the humble beetroot isn’t so humble when it comes to athletic performance. Beetlite Neo Shot is made with Neogenis beetroot extract, which is dehydrated from beetroot using a proprietary process that leaves the nutrients intact. The result is Neo Shot—fours simple, organic ingredients that combine to accelerate the body’s delivery of nitric oxide to the muscles approximately three times faster than the normal rate.

Beetlite then adds natural sweeteners to give Neo Shot a great flavor. No processed sugars or other additives enter the recipe, so there’s nothing to dehydrate you later.

    It's grown on me

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

this is my 2nd canister, seems to do the trick. have found that getting it in with cold water helps. can feel the positive effects and it's fun to tell guys your riding with your drinking blood from last nights vamp out ;-)

    It's Beetie

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Alright, I've been able to use this product a handful of times. From that experience I would suggest following the on canister directions of mixing with small amount of water. It's not that it tastes bad, but it's not easy to get in during exertion, and when it gets warmer than room temp it's super hard to get in. Chase it down with more H2O and you're good to go.
I feel like it made a difference when consuming 30-45min before exercise, always felt like I had a little more in the tank than previously on the same route.
Another thing I tried was mixing the powder around in the canister before scooping it into a bottle, dulled down the beet flavor a touch.

Wow - actually tastes pretty darn good

I am a firm believer in the nitrate - vasodilatation benefits of beet products and have tried many and have something essentially every day. usually one of the powders or crystals in a protein drink, which tastes marginal - and I like beets.

This is far more convenient and really does taste good. even beet haters should be able to tolerate this and may even like it, since it has a very predominant cherry flavor rather than beet. Although the company advertises it as being exponentially stronger then beet juice or beet powder, that has not been my experience. Seems the same effect as 2 tablespoons of powder or 5-6 oz.of straight juice. In any event a great product.
