Booster lll Climbing Rope - 9.7 mm

The Beal Booster III 9.7mm Climbing Rope is an excellent high-performance line for sport and trad climbers. Its skinny diameter helps it slide easily to reduce rope drag and allow easy, fast clipping. The Booster III is also dry-coated to keep it from absorbing water if it rains, and increase its life by protecting the sheath. Beal gave this rope a center mark to aid in setting up rappels, and letting the belayer know that he has not passed the halfway point, and his partner can still be lowered to the ground. The Beal Booster III Climbing Ropes does it all without making you feel like you're pulling a cable behind you.

Bottom Line: Looking for a high-performance rope? You've found the Beal Booster III Climbing Rope.

Happy with my rope choice

Been using it for a couple months now, really like it. Feels good while cliping and it feels nice when you're hauling the length up. I use it with an ATC Guide and an Eldridge Eddy (grigri style) belay devices. It has good feel in the ATC and it catches every time with no problem in the Eddy. I'm going to get another one of these or possibly a Flyer II for a gym rope soon.

Super small/light/sweeet. Still sorta new to me. Wouldn't use it for projecting, sweeeeet sending rope, clips nice. A touch stiff, experts only. No tiny-rope "skills" = death. :(

Very happy with this rope

I've been out a bunch of times with the 70 meter, and I love it. Good feel, good clipping and great thickness especially in the newer ATC Guide.
As with all skinny ropes, I'd be wary of its ability to catch in Grigri type devices.
