some have questioned the light output but i found that it lights up a four person sized tent quite sufficiently. It shoots light down so this is not the light for sitting around the picnic table playing cards. for its purpose as a light in a tent, it is very effective to light up everything and maximizes battery life very well. Solid build which likely has lead to higher price. I see it lasting for a long time.
