I love the Shogun because it is playful and lively, but also a high performance one ski quiver that rips groomers, pow, and everything in between. Gradual rocker in the tip, which really makes it so much easier in pow and funky conditions. Super easy to ski but solid at speed. I ride these and my Rocker2s depending on conditions.

What other skis would you compare it to or what other skis have you been on?

I've tested a ton of skis over the last couple years but honestly not that many in this category. I've heard it compared to the Line prophet 100, although that ski did not have any rocker. I skied a Dynastar Legend in a similar size a couple years ago, and that was way too much work.

Demoed the line prophet 90 a few days ago .. decent ski but it was a let down compared to the Salomon shoguns. Shoguns were an absolute joy. I mean an absolute joy!
