this rope is great, it does not get tangled easily and handles well. It's also pretty, I got the green. My other friend got the blue rope from REI and he noticed some fraying of the sheath on its first use. Not a huge problem because the core is prob ok. I haven't seen that on my rope yet and I've been using it for a month now.
