great tent

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this trip for a trip to the boundary waters in 9/2012. Tons of space, light for a two man and can't beat the price. Only dealt with a little rain. Bone dry. We did 5 nights on the boundary waters trip and I have done 5 seperate overnights in Arizona's high country. warm down to the 40's (I haven't been in colder weather with it yet). Set up and break down very easy and love have two vestibules.

I just got back from a quick overnight in the Superstition Mts. outside Phoenix. They were calling for rain so I tought, let's test this tent. I was scrambling to set up as the rain started. I camped on the rim of Boulder Canyon so left exposed to the wind. It rained a torrential downpour for pretty much 6 hours strait. 1.57 inches is what the park ranger said. The tent was a champ! At times the roof was about a foot from my face while laying my back. It held together and didn't leak. There was moister under my sleeping pad but not sure if that was there as we set up in the rain. Great tent for money
