great all around pack

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this directly through Millet instead of Backcountry.com, (didn't know Backcountry.com carried it, my bad). I've used it for rock and ice climbing, as well as backcountry skiing. I very much like the design of the back and shoulder straps. Easy to fit layers, helmets, probe, shovel, ice tools, food water, goggles, a rope, etc. in this beast. It is durable as all hell too. I've really put this thing through some nasty stuff and its survived everything.

My only beef with this pack is the ski carry system. The A-frame would work really well, but unfortunately the bottom loop on either side is small, and I am unable to fit fat skis through it (my Nordica Unleashed Hells are too fat and won't fit at 143-113-132). Still, the sync-down straps/buckles on either side can be jerry-rigged to fit any size of skis.

Other than that, absolutely bomber pack. My go to bag for climbing, skiing, and any other adventures.
