I returned the Edelweiss element II ARC for this guy, figuring that maybe the dry-treatment will come in handy more-so than the bi-pattern. First of all, it came with a neat little display bag, or so I thought. Until I opened it up and it has a ground sheet and a strap to hold coiled rope built in! That was unexpected, considering the other Element rope did not come with a bag of any sort. Then there was the spec sheet. Apparently it's rated for 11 falls, not 12 as stated. Static elongation is 36% not 37, the impact force is 8kN not 7.8. Also, the spec doesn't say anything about it being SuperEverDry. I guess I'll just have to trust it? I can't think of a way to actually test that... The spec sheet that came with the Element II ARC was true the the website and much more informative about the ropes features. What it comes down to is, if what I have is truely is a dry rope, I'm pumped.
