First, I love Keens. I have three pairs now. But this one was a little disappointing. The sewing is not uniform, and I had trouble with the heel strap feeling too big. The webbing on the top was a little tight (not uncomfortable) and would push my foot back as I walked. This coupled with the loose heel strap made them very hard to wear.
So, I hand sewed the strap in place, basically bypassing the cool little loop on the back. Now, I think the problem is solved.
I still love Keens. There just must have been a glitch with this one.
