Great rod for small/medium river fishing. I have the 5 WT 8'9" and it has a great feel to it. Flexy enough to whip it around but not too flimsy to where you can't throw it far enough. You definitely can feel this rod load when casting, so great for both beginners and experts. The slow action does very well with dries. Nymph rigs start to get a bit sloppy, but it works if it's all you've got. Do not expect much out of this rod in the wind depending on where you fish as it doesn't have the backbone to stand up to it. Fighting fish with this rod is a blast. A bit tough to drive them in if its a larger fish, but perfect for small to medium trout. I could easily see this as being a great all around rod for a beginner or a dry fly rod for an experienced caster.
