XT7 Error 3704 - Software is buggy

The software with which to upload run data to your compu won't allow me to do anything. Literally clicking on any link upon opening - both when watch is connected and not - issues this error 3704.

It's a shame, because my experience with the watch, now 8 days and 4 workouts, is really pretty good so far. It's a bit clunky that you have to Mode thru all 10 modes unidirectional. GPS locating satellites takes quite a bit of time as well, but those are the only issues. The watch is quite good other than the buggy software.

If I can't get the software to work, or if they don't resolve it, I will return the watch.

here could be an issue with the drivers.

I would try the following:

Go to the Start menu, then Run. Type ?devmgmt.msc? to bring up the device manager.

There should be a USB device beside a yellow question mark somewhere on this list.

Below is a sample screenshot that could give you an idea of what the yellow missing driver question marks look like. Note that the example below is a stock image, and that the missing drivers for the NB watch will be named differently than the examples. ?USB? will be in the title.

Right-click on the missing device and ?update driver.?

Hit ?search automatically? and Windows should successfully install the driver and enable your watch to synchronize.

The yellow question marks should disappear.

FYI - for some reason the " marks were replaced with ? in the text above. So if you are trying this, when you see ? use a ".
