I've been using it in 90 degree heat inside of a pack, and it keeps water below 70 degress for about 4-5 hours. It does fit in the resevoir pocket on my BD Infinity 50, but just barely, this thing is rather bulky (you can easily sacrifice the insulation and pull the bottle out though). As commented below the hose does seem to be excessively long and after a couple of weeks still has a plastic taste, but these aren't enough to keep me from recommending.
