They're nothing fancy put they'll take whatever you throw at them. I use them in the summer when the rain comes and as an everyday pant for snowshoeing in the winter. Sizing wise they run like regular pants, not over-pants so take that into account. The cord in the waist did break on my first pair but they were replaced for free and two yeas later I've had no other problems.
