I've worn Injinji cotton mini crews for a couple of years. Freeing the toes to work independantly not only is more comfortable but seems to add some balance and stability to my stride. These NuWool socks are on the thin side of medium density, not bulky stretch and breathe well. I now prefer them to their thinner cotton cousins and will wear them year-round. Note on sizing: Order AT LEAST one full size larger than you normally wear. They run small and will shrink after a few wash/dry cycles. Careful ordering from Backcountry as they charge shipping for returns.
