According to the size chart, I would be on the lower end of the "small" range. I'm glad I listened to the other reviewers and sized down - the xs still left plenty of room for layers, not a close fit but looks nice. Any larger and I think I would have looked like a line-backer.

The fennel color is matte, not shiny like in the picture. Too bad Backcountry doesn't have the Deep Plum color because it's gorgeous!

If you're looking for the warmest jacket in a light, packable style, this may be it. Nice for summits, belaying, and a "just in case" option. While I don't think it works as a stand alone piece in the dead of winter, it's great to wear when it's not quite cold enough to wear my thick, heavy "impenetrable fortress of warmth" winter jacket.
