I needed a synthetic bag that would remain warm after days of damp hiking in the Northwest, and yet wasn't too heavy. I scoured the internet, and the MH Ultralamina was the lightest synthetic bag for the rating. (Lighter even, than many down bags.) I've used it so far on Mt. Baker and other places in the North Cascades in our spring weather and temperatures, (rainy, cold) and it keeps me cozy. I'm female and sleep pretty cold, so this bag has been perfect for me. The price is really good too, for the light weight and warmth.
