I used these every single day all season doing lifty work. the rubber grip did get softer but never pealed off. when i got them they were the softest most comfortable liners out there but after i smelled them up and washed them... not the same. Air dry it and i think it will end up better. Also with time, the sewing came off on the thumbs inner side. (intense shoveling) all around, worth 20 bucks. the end.
