Walk Don't Hike

I bought these because I have other Keen shoes that are comfortable. They have been very comfortable to hike in but they have serious problems. They fit OK but lack a high lacing profile so have less support. During a recent day hike I turned my ankle three times. This never happened with my Merril's. Worse yet, we were on trails that were a bit wet, but by no means soaked and the treads slipped on the rocks repeatedly.

So, in summary. Very comfortable for long periods. Good for walking. Scary for hiking anything other than than buff trails.
