Very poor mitt

I am currently working in Nunavut canada and ordered a pair of these mitts to go along with the Canada Goose coat i have ( snow mantra) The coat is just amazing, the mitts....... horrible. The mitts are not even made in Canada lke the coats and Canada Goose should be ashamed of themselves for even allowing this product on the market. The company has a great rep because of the high quality coats and rightfully so because the coat i have is just amazing, i would sleep on Santa's door step for a month in the mantra.

What exactly are the problems with the mitts, other than not being made in Canada?

not all that warm and they are too short to fit tightly over my jacket plus they have no "idiot cord"

There is actually an "idiot cord" on these. It is the extension to the zip cord. I use these when I ski and they keep my hands toasty down to 0 pretty easy. If your working in conditions below this then maybe you should check out Marmots expedition mitts or Rabs Endurance down mitten http://www.backcountry.com/rab-endurance-down-mitten?ti=U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM6ZG93biBnbG92ZToxOjQ6ZG93biBnbG92ZQ expedition gloves. Canada Goose also makes an expedition glove that I have which is pretty bomb. All of these are rated to well below 0 and I have had no problems on any expedition I have taken them on above 20,000 ft. where the mercury really drops.
