Very comfortable water shoe

After suffering through several pairs of more sandal-like water shoes, I began looking for a more sneaker-type shoe and decided on the McKenzies. I have worn them on about ten river trips over the last few months and really like them. They are durable, comfortable, and very versatile. They dry fairly quickly and are good for off-river hiking. I used them on a 3-day trip on the Devils River in Texas, which is known for its extremely sharp and coarse limestone. These shoes help up very well while dragging boats across shallow spots in the river and were great for side hikes over nasty, rocky terrain.
