Bought to replace an old pair of Merill Polar Moccasins and couldn't be more pleased, they are warmer, more comfortable and have much better traction. Probably the most comfortable shoe I have worn in awhile, I wear them with merino wool socks. My only complaint is because my arch is so high I end up with not enough shoe lace to make a full knot, but not a big deal. Even tried them with snow shoes and they work great although you would probably want gaiters to keep the snow out of your ankles.
