This is a very nice day/summit pack.

The material seems way more rigid then I was expecting for a pack this size that can be packed into itself. The shoulder straps are comfortable and the waist strap seems fine and don't ride way up on your stomach like some packs. The specs I've seen say that this pack is Not hydration compatible but there IS a hook on the inside and a port for a hose, however, there is not a pouch for a bladder.
It is fairly easy to stuff this pack into itself. Just take out the foam pad (turn the pack inside out to do this) and stuff away into the "security" pocket. It does break down to a nice size. The foam pad isn't much so you could easily fold or roll it up to stash while hiking to base camp.
The main compartment is large and can hold a (lot) of gear, and compression straps are just about perfect on this pack which is good because the stuff pocket on the outside to which they are attached isn't so perfect. I was hoping for some sort of stretchy material that would optimize stuffing but that is not the case with this pack. Not useless but could have been better. My last gripe is that the mesh pockets could be a little bigger but that seems to be the case on a lot of daypacks i've looked at.

All together when I first ordered this pack I wasn't 100% sure about it. Now that I do have it I am totally happy with this pack. You should buy one if you are thinking about it!
