Gear Review
Versatile, warm jacket

This jacket has lasted me 3 winters now, and the excellent quality hasn't changed. It is very warm, windproof, and water resistant. It's also not as bulky as other down jackets. I would not recommend this coat above freezing temperatures. For me, between 32 and 10 Fahrenheit it is perfect for minimal to no activity, like watching a football game. When I'm hiking up and down hills, it needs to be well below freezing for me to not overheat in this jacket, even with only one layer under it. It worked well for easy downhill skiing. I'm 6'1" 190lbs. and I have XXL size. The price was right for XXL but I could probably wear an XL. My only complaint are the wrist cuffs. They are made of a stretchy, wool-like material which tend to hold snow. I would highly recommend this jacket, especially if you find one that is cheaper than $325.
