Tight pits

I agree with the other review that this would be a perfect 5-star jacket if it weren't for the tight fit under the armpits. I'm 6'1" & 170 lbs with an athletic build and went with a large for the arm length. Even with it being pretty baggy everywhere (the arms themselves are quite baggy) else, the armpits are pretty tight. I think this may be due to the redesigned "torsoflo" venting. OR usually has full pit vents. This jacket however has a hem (bottom of jacket) to below the armpit vent. The design changed on this jacket to where the zipper doesn't actually go up to the armpit (or through to bicep as usual). Appears they didn't measure the cut properly for this new design, causing it to be too tight. This wasn't a deal breaker for me and once wearing it on the mountain for a while, I completely forgot about it. It's definitely more noticeable when you first put the jacket on. Again, other than this, it's an incredible jacket well worth more than the asking price.

Pits are tight for climbing!

Style issue. Sleek is in. You don't want to be caught in that 90s era big boxy cut shell anymore. Let's not pretend that functionality rules the day.
