There are better alternatives

I bought this in Carbon copy as a rain jacket to wear around town. The fabric is soft and nice, the lenght and hood is nice. What I don't like is the baggy shape. I find Norrna jackets to have a much better fit than the Sabre SV. I have not used it for skiing, but the powder skirt does not seem to be as good as Peak Performance or Norrna. I also find it to lack pockets, but the under arm vents are good.

I'd have to agree with Stephen. The entire purpose of the baggy/loose fit of this jacket is for layering when ski/snowboarding. There may not be a lot of pockets, but the ones that are there are big and useful for storing away extra layers/gloves etc. I do agree that there are better alternatives, but only for the purpose you intended to use this piece of equipment, because for its intended use, it's quite brilliant.
