TNF/Brooklyn Jacket Has A Nice Shape
I bought this coat because of the style--slenderizing. The down is on the inside so I don't look like the Michellan Man in it. I also thought the faux fur trim made the jacket look a little dressier than others. The"fur"looks great in the photo, but it's rather cheesy-looking in person. I exchanged the first Brooklyn Jacket because the front part of each side of the "fur" was matted and ratty-looking when I opened the box--looked like someone might have washed it. The second jacket arrived immediately. Each front side of the fur trim was again matted. I like the Brooklyn Jacket so much that I decided to remove the "fur" and keep the coat. The sleeves are nice and long -- not extra long, but not short like most clothing made in Asia. The knit cuffs keep the cold, NY Mountain air out. This coat is really warm! I recommend it. Just know that the faux fur on the jacket you get might look ratty. I think this coat runs a bit small. I wear a Medium in the Transit coat. I bought a Large in the Brooklyn and it's snug. The only reason I didn't rate the jacket 5 stars is because of the "fur" trim.
