Super float

Great float for such a light snowshoe

How well do these work with ski boots? I don't have enough money for a touring setup so I'm looking to get some snowshoes for some Montana ski touring in deep powder.

You don't want to even think about using ski boots in these. Not an option. If ski touring is your purpose, a pair of alpine trekkers would be so much better.

I must admit that I laughed when I read your question, but then I thought about it. why not give it a try with my scarpa T2x Tele boots.
Result: Not good. Boots proved to have me leaning too far forward. I have a size 10.5 foot and my boots (mondo 28) were able to clear the swing of the snowshoe from my boot tip. The straps barely fit around the boots. Also if its offtrail these snowshoes will be far too small for any deep "powder". For the cost of a larger snowshoe you might as well buy a decent used setup of alpine touring skis with skins for 300$.
