This jacket definitely packs down super small, perfect for use as a pillow at night. It also seems to be fairly tare resistant and is super warm. I am 5'9" 175 lbs and fit perfect in a medium. As for cold testing, I have been in some really strong winds about 12,500 ft and have been warm with just the jacket and a shitty t-shirt, yet I have not been in any extreme cold less than around 30 degrees F in this jacket yet... So far I love it.
