Have taken the pack on a couple of trips and haven't completely fallen in love with the innovative ball joint. Pack tends to swing a little more than I'd like with this thing. I have a funny gait that promotes the swing and it gets a little irritating.
Features of the pack are pretty great, though. The empty weight is pretty good for a pack not dedicated to ultralight activities.

Oh, and wish it just happened to have straps for A-frame or diagonal ski carry. I know it isn't a BC ski pack, but would be super convenient if it was.

I know what you mean about swinging to much, however BD thought of that and thats why they installed the "Lockout" straps at the bottom. Its fast and easy and you can do it on the run. Hope that helps a little becuase im completly in love with mine.
