The ski itself was certainly not the ski for me. Although it is touted as one of Atomic?s touring offerings, the rep kept telling me that the ski had been stiffened and that was the gist of what he kept repeating to me. Sure enough they were super stiff which did not go over very well for me when I found myself in some bumps making my way back to the tents. The skis were heavier than I would have wanted and were hard to bring around in that terrain. They did ok on fresh groomed runs but at 186 and as stiff as they were that was not a big surprise. I would recommend this ski to someone who wants a really stiff backcountry ski and won?t be in tight spaces all that often. It could also be better for heavier skiers or more powerful people than myself.

5'10 165lb. The skis I currently have are the Salomon Rocker 2 115 in a 188cm (powder and all arounder), a Volkl Mantra in a 177cm (mostly harder conditions), and the Dynafit Stoke ina a 173cm (touring ski, very nimble and light, albeit a bit soft).
