Split the fence on the size

I fall somewhere between an 11 and 12 in shoes. For dress/casual shoes I usually run closer to 11 (11.5's are great when I can find them) but for athletic/running shoes I almost always get a 12. After reading several reviews saying to size down for halves, I ordered these in an 11 and they just barely fit. My heel wanted to slide off sideways on the edge of the heel riser. I went to a local place and tried on the 12 and they worked much better for me so I am swapping them out. Returns at Back Country are super easy so I am not worried about this in the slightest. Hope this helps anyone who falls between sizes on these. **Update** Exchanged for a 12 and they fit great. Super comfortable . Looking forward to many years of use.
