Ok, so I’ve only had this product for a week, so I can’t vouch for its long term durability, but a year from now I will give an update on its performance. I work (and play) outdoors - a lot, so on cold days all I ask for is a steaming hot cup of java to keep me cozy. I didn’t get that with the Stanley 1.1 liter vacuum bottle that this Primus brand replaced. So far, I like it. I ‘primed’ the bottle as indicated in the instructions and all day long (no exaggeration) every time I poured myself a cap full of joe, it was piping hot. This is with repeated openings of the bottle, getting my cup full of caffeine every few hours or so. By 4:00pm (bottle was filled at 7:00am), when I was down to the last cup, it was still steaming hot. There is no doubt that this can keep beverages hot for 10 + hours. The only drawback is that there is no handle, but when your briefcase is a backpack this is a minor point. Overall, it’s light weight (compared to the Stanley I replaced), very packable, and very – very useful on cold expeditions.
