After getting hosed by a few other approach shoes, this shoe made my year. I have used it for descents off some big climbs like El Cap, Half Dome, Bear Creek Spire, etc. in the Sierras and in the Tetons. It fits true to size. Incredibly comfortable with great support & cushioning, and superb traction on rock. Reliable and excellent shoe.
