Short but Solid

I have been wearing tall gaitors for 10 years and was a bit nervous to switch to a short gaiter since I am short and like the extra protection on my legs. But just like switching from my limmers to patagonia shoes for hiking, the switch made a big difference. I am a women's 9 and the L/XL worked perfect for me. Hugs my calves and am able to put socks and pants in them just fine. I couldn't use my other gaiters with my shoes because they kept creeping up my heel and not forming solid protection in that area, so the elements were hitting my socks. That definitely doesn't happen with these. Great buy.
