I have bought this tent (2008 version but the differences are small) for a two weeks hiking trip in the norwegian wilderness. The weight of the tent is a dream, it fits three persons perfectly wit enough room for the packs in the vestibules.

Although ultralight the tent withstood thunderstorms, hail and heavy rain without any problem. It was our save and reliable have under all conditions. Even considering the rather stiff price I would definitely buy it again.

With three people inside we experienced some condensation on the outer tent in humid weather, as to expected. But the inner tent never got wet and the venting is excellent thanks to the large mesh area in the inner tent. One thing you have to keep in mind is that in colder conditions you still have a constant airflow the tent. There the large mesh area is then a downside. Even with three people in it, the air in the tent will not get warmer than the outside air. Therefore I rate it as a 2.5 season tent instead of 3 seasons. If you plan to use it in cold weather adjust your sleeping bag choice accordingly.

The tent really is free standing, however I would highly recommend to tie it down with some lines in windy conditions.
I recommend the use of the footprint! Due to the lightweight design the floor is rather thin and I would not like to have it damaged by rough floor conditions.
