First of all I have a 38" waist and I bought these in an XL, and I have PLENTY of extra room as they fit pretty big. Throw a belt on and you're set to shred. I bought last years yellow color and they get a little dirty easier. I came off of arcteryx bibs of 7 seasons and finally wanted something more relaxed fitting. The goretex is great as you would expect from any Arcteryx product. Overall I really enjoy the pants!
