Roxanne will appreciate the RED LIGHT
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I used this headlamp every night for 136 straight days, so I got to know her pretty well. The battery life seemed to last three weeks or so at a time after using it on average 1.5 hrs/night. Also, I can't emphasize enough how nice the red light is for trail etiquette especially in shelters. Be smart; be prepared.
Button may cause you to fumble with gloves or cold hands.
Water-resistance is not as sure as with competitors.
Red Light is great for not disturbing others either in camp, shelter, or on trail.
Tilt is wide and lets you really angle light sharply downward if necessary.
Battery life is solid.
