Renegade GTX

Most comfortable boot found...best fit - no break-in period needed.
However, after ~350 high Sierra miles (much off trail - fishing trips mostly - pack weight ~35 pounds) the toe caps have separated from the boot (fixed twice now with epoxy but will need another shot of glue before going out again.)
Also, stitching at the front, toe-flex points has unraveled - had to re-stitch down again. Needs a better/more robust toe cap design.

Bottom line: A great boot initially but for $220 should last longer before falling apart.

350 miles of rough terrain and in mountainous area is a lot of abuse. I think 3 stars is a bit rough.
