Quality and Dependability

The boot is horibble in water. even a dash through 2 inches gets your socks and feet soaked. Feet are the most important part of outdoor success!

That hasn't been my experience at all. I have owned my pair for two years and have worn them in all kinds of weather, from summertime Florida heat and rain, to North Carolina and Tennessee and Georgia winters. The only time that my feet get wet are when (1) it's too damn hot out and my feet sweat, or (2) I step in a hole too deep for the boot and water comes in over the top.

I have found them to be VERY comfortable and lightweight. I have put many miles on them in the woods, the rocks, and while riding my motorcycle. For walking through a couple inches of water they have no problem keeping my feet dry. Even if they didn't keep my feet dry I would still love them.
