Pretty nice middle ground

I picked these up as something between a Solution and a Speedster and I think they are fitting that niche for me at this point. They feel almost as soft as the Speedster out of the box but actually have an edge! The heel is quite nice for aggressive heel hooks. I may have botched the sizing since I went with the same size I have in every Sportiva shoe but think these may stretch a bit more than I want over time. A lot of that has to do with the fact that half of the upper is basically just some form of spandex and the only thing holding that back is the velcro strap which is not looped through anything like most every other shoe. I do appreciate the fact that there are no straps or laces near the lower inside part of the shoe as I tend to trash that quickly through flags, bicycles, toe hooks, and scums.

how does the Python's P3 sole compare to the Solution's or Testarossa's P3 sole? someone made a comment about the P3 system not being the same as the Solution/Testarossa.

The Phython isn't P3, but it's similar. The sole of the Python is a little softer than the Solution or Testarosa. So, it's more flexible and sensitive. I'm a fan (of all 3)
