Perfect for Spring Conditions
I absolutely love KEENs because I don't need to break them in. I bought these for work and they are perfect for spring conditions when there are still patches of snow, mud, and deeper stream crossings. My feet were nice and dry. I am often venturing off-trail for my job, so the support of these is great. I have a pair of Targhee I's that I love, but they've worn out after 3 years of almost daily use. The Targhee II's are not as breathable as the Targhee I's, so my feet get warmer when it's hot. If you're looking for something supportive, comfortable, and waterproof for day hikes and light backpacking, I would recommend these. For trail running, they are a bit stiff, I would not recommend them for trail running.
