First time buyer of the convertible pant intentionally for plane trip from midwest blizzard to tropical Keys. Have been frustrate with traditional pants in the past. Very comfortable for the plane, zip the legs prior to landing and I was ready to go! They became my go-to shorts all week. Water and soil reistant. They looked great even at the end of the week, perfect sitting by the pool due to lightweight. Zip the legs back on the trip back and ready for the temperature change. Glad I purchased two pair!!

Most people celebrate Valentine's Day with Champaigne & Chocolates. I celebrated Valentine's day with a pile of cut up clothes!!! "I won't go out with a man with torn clothes---you look like your homeless with your ratty Safari clothes. R-A-T-T-Y?!!! Unlike a certain 'significant other' who wares $300.00 designer RIPPED clothes, as I am typing this, I am waring my dune coloured 'Kenya Convertables' with a small tear on the left front pocket. Is it a designer 'TEAR'? Is it a 'stragetically enhanced' fashion statement? No, it was me tumbling 100' down an embankment when some A******* ran me off the road!!!

Unlike my brother who battles 'the bulge' and the TV remote, I enjoy my weekends 'FLYING'---flying over the handle bars of my ten speed down a 100' embankment and nothing to show for it but a torn pocket---that's my kind of pants!!! I swear by North Face---balllistic tough, mesh pockets, double stiched seems---they'll bury me in these pants...especially if I keep taking my life in my hands cycling!!!
