This is the perfect late season or cool weather sock. I just wore these at a race in 40 degree temps, rain and mud and my feet were nice and toasty (as much as they could've been).

I wouldn't classify these a "Light" sock...they're still pretty bulky in the toe and heel. Make sure you have the room. If you're looking for a really light sock, I'd go with the Ultra Light Mini.
