Not durable enough

I thought it was very comfortable, but on my fourth night on it, it stopped holding air. It's going back to BC. I like the Neo concept, but in my opinion these things just aren't made for use outside your tent.

Of course they're not meant for putting directly on the ground... you use a polycro sheet, ground sheet, or your tent bottom!

This isn't a closed cell foam mattress, and its not a 3.5 lb old school mattress. The point is to save weight and space in your pack, not to be the most durable thing on the planet. You have to sacrifice some durability for weight...

I've had my original thermarest neoair for 5-6 seasons and I use it many times per year. Its always held air, I've never had to patch it or do any repairs, and I'd recommend one to anyone.
