Nice pant but odd sizing

When I first saw these pants I absolutely LOVED the color (lilac) – thank you Armada! A perfect style and color match for the jacket.

I tried them on in the store before I bought them online (thankfully or I definitely would have ordered the wrong size). I'm small - 5'4, 120 pounds, 26/27pant size, and I found the smalls too short (in my bare feet) and tight (wasn’t wearing anything underneath). Although that's the style, I can’t imagine them being comfortable on the hill, they seem like they would be fairly restrictive as far a movement goes. When I tried the mediums on they were a much better fit length wise but HUGE in the waist (really un-proportionate). They have waist adjustors which when adjusted as small as they'll go, fit better but I'll still need to use a belt. The adjustors are on the inside though, so the waist still looks big.

Haven’t used them on the hill yet so I don’t know how they’ll keep up for warmth and dryness. I’ll update once I’ve taken them for a ski.
