The jacket serves its purpose well. It kept me dry in the rain. I previously owned the Patagonia Rain Shadow, and I liked TNF much more. The zippers moved fluidly, the hood has a visor to keep your face dry, and the cinch cords on the sides work well to keep the jacket tight. It's not very warm, so if it's cold outside where a fleece underneath. It does not pack very easily within its own pocket for storage.
